On April 18, the First Annual Conference for International Exchange on Education in Chongqing sponsored jointly by Chongqing Education International Exchange Association and the“Belt and Road” Western Education International Exchange and Cooperation Federation was held in Chongqing, aiming to exploring new pathways for international cooperation in education and seeking new open development patterns for education. Deputy Party Secretary, President and Professor Wang Guoyin of Chongqing Normal University attended the conference and made a keynote speed at the main forum.

In the keynote speech, Professor Wang Guoyin introduced the impact of technological innovation in education on cross-border resource sharing and personalized teaching, stressed the importance of seeking smart education innovation and novel international teaching patterns, and stated that CNU would leverage artificial intelligence to promote professional digital upgrades of different disciplines and paradigm reform of scientific research, so as to create a“borderless community of wisdom” and set an example for global digital education transformation.

With video addresses from Party Secretary and Director Yu Yunfeng of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education,Counselor Gong Shixian of the British Council, Vice Chairman Ou Ruian of the British Council in China,Deputy Director Tazhibayev of the Department of Education of Almaty, Kazakhstan, andthe honorary president of the Federation of Thai-Chinese Education Association, the Conference had the presence of more than 400 participants, including directors or principals from relevant functional departments and commissions such as Chongqing Municipal Education Commission and Chongqing Entry and Exit Administration Bureau, member units of the“Belt and Road” Western Education International Exchange and Cooperation Federation,municipal societies and associations of education, education commissions of some districts and countries, higher education institutions, vocational schools, and primary and secondary schools in Chongqing.
