On March 17, the“Knowing China from Chongqing” series cultural exchange activities under a key brand program sponsored by Chongqing Association for International Education and undertaken by Chongqing Normal University (“CNU”) and Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum was successfully concluded at Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum. The event, with participation of more than 50 international students from 15 countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Morocco, was a journey of exploring the Chinese characters across the expanse of time and space.

The exhibition showed the historical evolution, research anddissemination, and artistic preservation of Chinese characters, enabling the international students to feel the changes and artistic essence of these characters by using modern information and acoustic technologies and experience the Chinese culture in a visible, audible, touchable or otherwise sensible manner.

The event treated all participants to a feast of Chinese culture andintrigued them with the unique charms of Chinese language and characters, giving them not only precious and memorable experience with Chinese characteristics, but also an impulsion to learn more about the Chinese culture.
