On November 21, a“Understanding Today’s China”-themedvocational skills trainingexperience activity was carried out in Chongqing Vocational College of Public Transportation, with participation of 20 international students from six countries, as organized by CNU’s Office for International Cooperation and Exchanges as part of the“regular secondary education and vocational education integration” activities launched by Chongqing Normal University in response to the quality and efficiency enhancement requirement of the era for international students in China. The activity was intended to promote international students’ awareness of China's realities through cultural publicity videos, oral explanation of popular sciences and culture, visits to practical training bases for national railway technologies and virtual simulation, smart community display space (AI training room), train museum, so as to showcase the mode of talent development for rail transit in Chongqing, latest achievements in China’s transportation technology sector, progress of implementing China’s strategy for strengthening the country through transportation, enabling theinternational students to know more about the current China.
