Chongqing Tchaikovsky Conservatory Approved as a Key Research Base for Humanities and Social Sciences in Chongqing

According to the Reply of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government on Approval for Establishing Institutes Including New Quality Productive Forces Research Institute as Key Research Bases for Humanities and Social Sciences in Chongqing published recently, our Chongqing Tchaikovsky Conservatory was included as one of the eight institutes. This is the second time that Chongqing Normal University obtained such approval for the establishment of key research bases for humanities and social sciences in Chongqing since the launch of the initiative by the Municipal Government in 2003. Based on achievements made, the Conservatory will focus on theoretical and practical research, engage in China-Russia academic exchanges and joint research, and endeavor to build an international high-level music talent development system and scientific research system. By virtue of Chongqing Tchaikovsky Conservatory being approved as such a key research base, the University will continue the construction of an inclusive research platform to create a sound environment for high-quality development of research outcomes.
