On July 29, a team led by Deputy Party Secretary and President Wang Guoyin of the University visited the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education forinvestigational study, and was received by Party Secretary and Director Yu Yunfeng of the Centerfor Language Education and Cooperation.

During the visit, Wang Guoyin stated that Chongqing Normal University had generated great outcomes under the auspices of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation and expressed the hope that the latter would continue playing its steering role in cooperation between the two parties. In-depth exchanges were carried out between thevisiting teamand heads of relevant departments of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, with respect to development of international Chinese teachers with scholarships, regional country research, digitalization-enabled education, etc. Yu Yunfeng fully recognized the contribution and commitment of Chongqing Normal University to the high-quality development of the international Chinese language education course, and represented that the Center would always remain a positive supporter to cooperation between Chinese and foreign universities for regionalized and localized development of international Chinese language education, as well as to the diversified and digitalized development of international Chinese language education to better accommodate local economic and social development needs, while expecting Chongqing Normal University to make further and greater contributions to the localization and digitalization of international Chinese language education.
