On May 14, Vice President Lu Yuanquan met with a delegation led by Kate Arnold, Head of International Operations of Edge Hill University for discussions on matters in relation to the cooperative education program in bioscience. During the meeting, Vice President Lu Yuanquan greeted Kate Arnold, recognized the continuing improvement of the cooperative program in bioscience, stressedthe need tofurther optimize the cooperation mode and extend the cooperation inwardly and outwardly, and encouraged functional departments of Chongqing Normal University to discuss with the visitors about work to be done for such optimization. Lu Yuanquan also invited the delegation to Chongqing for celebration of CNU’s 70thanniversary in October. Kate Arnold thanked Lu Yuanquan for the invitation, greeted the University for the 70thanniversary, reviewed achievements and experience in the cooperative undergraduate education program in bioscience in the past four years, and expressed readiness toengagement in close communication and coordination with Chongqing Normal University for further optimization and improvement of the program.Matters in relation to exchange of students between the universities for summer camps were discussed between the delegation and leaders from the International Office, the Enrollment Office, the Finance Office and the Bioscience College of Chongqing Normal University.
