On the evening of December 11, the first concert of the Sino-Russian "Two Rivers and Road"music exhibition tour was held at the concert hall of Chongqing Normal University.
This activity is co-sponsored by Chongqing Normal University and the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music. It is a display of the results of music education cooperation between the two schools, and it is also an important practice of local cultural exchanges between China and Russia.

The concert opened with Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" overture. The piece was adapted by a trio and performed by violinist Sergei Irinev, cellist Fyodor Amosov and pianist Lu Chao, showing the delicacy and tension of Russian music. The subsequent staged "Four Seasons · April - Pine Snow Grass" outlines the fresh artistic mood of early spring with the dialogue between violin and piano.

The performance repertoire integrates Chinese and Russian classics and Western masterpieces, showing the openness and inclusiveness of music exchange. Tenor Wang Enze sang a selection of the Chinese opera "Yimeng Mountain""Lin Sheng Aria", conveying the artistic charm of red music; Tchaikovsky's "Contemplation", Amosov's "History Scroll"selection and other works show the profound background of Russian music. In the second half, the woodwind and brass ensembles were staged in turn, and the repertoire style was diverse. Among them, the theme variant of "Song of the Yangtze River"by Chinese composer Wang Shiguang is played in the form of a trio, which becomes a musical link that echoes the theme of "Two Rivers"and the connotation of Sino-Russian cooperation.
Wu Wei, a student of the School of Music of Chongqing Normal University, said that this was the first time he had listened to such a complete Russian work on campus. His excellent playing skills and strong infectiousness made him have a more intuitive and true feeling about Russian music.

It is reported that Chongqing Normal University and the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music have deepened their cooperation in recent years. In 2024, a joint music preparatory class will be opened to introduce Russian teachers and teaching systems. Before the concert, the vice principal of the Russian side issued a certificate to the representatives of the students, marking that the cooperation between the two schools has entered the normal and substantive stage.
From December 11th to 12th, musicians in Moscow Chaiyuan also held a number of master classes, covering piano, string music, wind music, vocal music, music theory and other majors. The "Two Rivers and Road"music exhibition will also be held in Chongqing Grand Theatre, Chongqing Normal College of Early Childhood Education and Wanzhou and other places to hold performances and exchange activities.
The relevant person in charge of Chongshi said that the school will continue to rely on the Sino-Russian music education cooperation platform to deepen the joint construction of courses, mutual visits between teachers and students and academic cooperation, serve Sino-Russian cultural exchanges and the construction of Chongqing's inland open highlands, and build a platform for cultivating international musical talents.
