On December 9-12, the 23rdInternational Conference on Web Intelligence and Intelligent Agent Technology (WI-IAT'24) sponsored by IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Intelligent Informatics (TCII) and Web Intelligence Academy (WIA) was held in Bangkok, Thailand, bringing together researchers and practitionersfrom diverse fields around the world for presentation of original research results, as well as exchange and dissemination ofinnovative and practical development experiences on Web intelligence and intelligent agent technology research and applications. Prof. Wang Guoyin, President of Chongqing Normal University, attended the Conference as one of the four specially invited keynote speakers, and delivered a speech titled“Brain Cognition Inspired Artificial Intelligence”.

During the Conference, Professor Wang Guoyin attended multiple forums, where he had broad and in-depth academic exchange with experts from different countries, having contributed to the greater international visibility of Chongqing Normal University in terms of artificial intelligence research and developed more connections for future international cooperation and exchange of the Univeristy.
According to the 2024 Annual List of Fellows released byWeb Intelligence Academy atWI-IAT'24 on December 11, Professor Wang Guoyin was included as a WIA fellow.
