Recently, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee Yuan Jiajun and Mayor Hu Henghua met with a group led by RectorAlexander Sokolov ofMoscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, and witnessed the signing of an educational cooperation agreement between Chongqing Normal University and Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. During the meeting, which had the presence of Cultural CounselorChernyshev Maxim of the Russian Embassy in China, Vice RectorMargarita Karatygina of Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Deputy MayorShang Kui from Chongqing People’s Government, as well as leaders from relevant enterprises, government departments and Chongqing Normal University, Secretary Yuan Jiajun and Mayor Hu Henghua welcomed the group on behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People’s Government, extended appreciation toAlexander Sokolov for dedication to the cooperation, represented to support continuing partnership between the two sides, recognized the remarkable results achieved by the two institutions through cooperation, and expressed earnest expectations for exemplary joint efforts between Chongqing and Russia in the commitment to drive practical outcomes in the economic, trading and industrial sectors.
