The application notice for the 2026 China Link Short-term Scientific Exchanges Scholarship Program is hereby issued as follows:

I. Funding Plan
To deepen the academic friendship and mutual learning among young people from China and abroad, and to build a platform for the exchange of young scientific research talents around the world, the China Scholarship Council (CSC) will continue to support outstanding international students and scholars to come to China for short-term studies of 1 to 12 months through the China Link Program in 2026. The funding standard will be in accordance with the full funding standard for ordinary or advanced visiting students of the Chinese Government Scholarship. For details, please refer to the program brochure in Attachment 1.

II. Conditions for Recommended Candidates
1. Non-Chinese nationality, in good health.
2. Applicants for ordinary visiting students should be no more than 45 years old. applicants for advanced visiting students should be no more than 50 years old.
3. During the application and participation period, they must be full-time students or staffs of the CSC's overseas partner institutions. The list of overseas partner institutions is provided in Attachment 2.

4. The start date of the study in China should not be later than August 31, 2027.
5. Recommended candidates must have passed the admission qualification review of their respective institutions and be the intended new students of their institutions.

III. Recommendation
1. Based on the international student admission requirements and the specific admission regulations of each institution, Chongqing Normal University will conduct a comprehensive review of the applicants' attitudes towards China, academic performance, research capabilities, language proficiency, health status, and criminal record, and recommend candidates who meet the requirements.
2. The admission and selection process for this program will be fully conducted through the B-category project process of the Chinese Government Scholarship Management Information System. Institution code for Chongqing Normal University is 10637. Please submit the application materials in the system as required in Attachment 3.
3. Please carefully check all admission information and verify in the Chinese Government Scholarship Management Information System whether the current overseas source institution name is correctly filled in the [Educational Background and Work Experience - Highest Degree] section (the source institution should be consistent with the Chinese name of the institutions in Attachment 2).
4. Please submit the list of scholarship candidates to the CSC at least two months before the students' arrival in China. After submission, please send the candidate list and the formal recommendation letter (institutional letter) to szhao@csc.edu.cn within three days;
5. The specific scholarship admission results will be based on the notice from the CSC. Program brochure links:
