To deepen sports and people-to-people exchanges between Chinese and foreign youth and advance the training of internationally-oriented sports talents of the university, in September 2026, Huang Yongyi, Member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee and Vice President, served as Head of the Chinese University Sports Delegation for the 2026 World University Beach Championships designated by the Ministry of Education, and led the delegation to Figueira da Foz, Portugal to attend the competition.
