On December 16-21, 2024, Chongqing Normal University had an international exchange event themed on“Appreciate Music in Chongqing, Embrace a Brighter Future Together”. For the purpose of the activity, music teachers from the world-renowned MoscowState Tchaikovsky Conservatory were invited and students specialized in physics, engineering, music and other fields and talented in music were enrolled from Oxford University.

During the event, famous musicians from Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, includingMikhailov Evgenii andEkaterina Morozova provided music training and instructions to and had exchanges with the students from the Music Department of Oxford University and teachers and students from theCollege of Music of Chongqing Normal University. Besides, the Oxford students, together with international students from CNU, visited some research institutions in Chongqing, attended lectures and interviews with well-known experts, participated in various forms of practice to explore disciplinary features under different cultures, and visited the international talent innovation andentrepreneur service port in the Western (Chongqing) Science Town, Changan Liangjiang Factory and Changan Global R&D Center.

The event was intended to inspire innovation, encourage discussions between international young people, promote exchanges between Chinese and foreign teachers and students, and establish connections between CNU and international top universities for future exchanges and cooperation.
